Eind september kreeg onze hogeschool bezoek van 4 studenten van BASF Ludwigshafen voor een internationale ervaring. Tijdens deze uitwisselingssamenwerking met onze studenten Chemie, Procestechnologie en Elektromechanica draaien de deelnemers onder andere mee bij chemiereus BASF Antwerpen en ACTA, het opleidingscentrum voor Techniek en Automatisering.
De bezoekende studenten waren alvast erg enthousiast. Je leest het verslag hier:
Our time at AP Hogeschool, a trip to remember.
"We arrived on Sunday the 23rd of September in Antwerp, the first impressions were overwhelming. The Central station is such a beautiful building and gives you a warm welcome, when you first arrive in the city. We were all a bit nervous about the upcoming 4 weeks.
On Monday we went to AP for the first time. Els van Eyken welcomed us and we met a few students. Since that point the feeling of being nervous was gone. The students guided us through the school and the first plans about sightseeing Antwerp were made. From that point we knew that the next two weeks at AP would be two weeks staying with very kind and interesting people.
We were able to see some classes and be part of some experiments in the laboratory. The teacher led us through his courses and made us experience processes in chemistry in a new way. We’ve also visited campus Ellermanstraat, where we’ve cooperated with some of the students from Electromechanics and their teachers. We really enjoyed our time at AP!
We would like to thank the staff, teachers and all of the involved students for making our trip to Antwerp such an unforgettable experience. This is a trip we would recommend to any other student. We hope to see some of your students in Ludwigshafen next year, to make their trip unforgettable as well!"
