International Week "Reading makes the impossible possible"

Teachers sharing their expertise in education with our teachers in a truly international setting.

For the 6th year in a row, AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts Antwerp (Antwerp, Belgium) and HZ University of Applied Sciences (Vlissingen, the Netherlands) offer you and your colleagues the opportunity to share your expertise with more than 150 student teachers during a joint international week in November 2024.

Thanks to this truly international approach, you can teach in two different countries and compare the Dutch and Belgian educational system. Additionally, you will get to know many guest lecturers from all over Europe.

This year, our central theme will be “Reading makes the impossible possible”. The phrase is a widely used quote that highlights the power of reading, reflecting the belief that reading opens the door to new worlds, ideas, and perspectives and recognising the impact that reading can have on individuals and society as a whole. We would love to link all workshops and assignments for our students to this inspiring theme.
