Florian graduated from the Graphic and Digital Media program at AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts. During his studies, he specialized in Extended Reality (XR), generative AI, 3D design, and front-end development. He completed an internship at the Immersive Lab, where he gained knowledge in procedural software such as SideFX Houdini, Blender, as well as Real-Time Engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. For his graduation project, Florian developed his own VR case: 'DiagnoVR', a prototype tool that can be used in diagnostics to identify ADHD and ASD in children.
Currently, Florian works as a researcher at the Immersive Lab, where he conducts user research. He optimizes various projects and devises efficient workflows. Additionally, he regularly collaborates with other research groups within AP: Health and Life Sciences, and Lifelong Learning and Innovation.
